Abstract
Rough results of fishing activities around FAD's laid in the surrounding waters of Guadeloupe since 1988 with the support of Public Administration (Marine Affairs) and Research Institute (IFREMER) are dealt with in this paper. The results are compiled from fishing sheets distributed to fishermen. The mean yields of the main groups and species of large pelagic fishes (billfishes, dolphin, small tuna not identified yellowfin tunas heavier than 10 kg) are presented every month for the years 1992, 1993 and 1994. The data, nevertheless, must not be referred to without care: due to important standard deviations, they give only a general idea of the presented tendencies.
