Abstract
In Quintana Roo, the queen conch fishery is second in importance for it's economic and social value. Today in the south zone especially in Chinchorro Bank is the only Fishing area in Quintana Roo where conch is exploted in Mexico. Samplings were carried out in four difent zones: key North, key Center, isla Che and key wolf. In this study a morphometric analysis of siphonal lenght and lip thickness conch with the objective to find out if there exist a relationship among the four zones. Siphonal length adult organisms was from 150 a 260 mm and lip thickness was from 0.15 to 35 mm. Results presented are discussed on a proposition for spatial management of the resource.
