Abstract
The lengthweight relationship of striped Mojarra Eugerres plumieri collected in the Cordoba´s Caribbean sea between january and december 2007 were estimated. The size ranged between 10.0 - 35.7 (20.5 ± 4.4) cm TL and the total weight between 11.6 740.0 (139.8 ± 97.9) g. 204 females, 146 males and 25 undifferentiated were analyzed, with sexual proportion female: male of 1.4:1. Lengthweight relationship estimated were, females TW =0.007 LT 3.21, r = 0.99, n = 204, males TW =0.009 LT 3.16, r = 0.99, n = 146 and both sexes TW =0.008 LT 3.20, r = 0.99, n = 375; and found that females are larger and heavier than males. The growth coefficients were allometric in all three cases, without statistically significant differences between them. The same was observed in condition factor.
