Abstract
Are there differences or similarities between the Pacific Ocean and the Gulf and Caribbean regions? We know that fish spawning aggregations occur throughout the worlds oceans and there seems to be variations between species and regions. Science and Conservation of Fish Aggregations (SCRFA) is compiling information on these aggregations in a global database, which now holds over 1,000 records. Through analysis of records in the Pacific Ocean and the Gulf and Caribbean region, we can now compare what fish spawn where and how.
