Abstract

The objective of the present study was to determine the distribution, abundance and biométricos aspects of Lutjanus griseus, in the lagoon bocaripo. Monthly samplings were made from November 2006 to October 2007, in seven stations, four located inside the lagoon, one in mouth and two in the external part. For the samplings a train of playero drag was used. The relation was determined to him carve-I weigh (w = alb) and the analysis of the frequency allocation of stature. 4.75 kg were collected a total of 210 organisms in their majority youthful with a weight, an interval of lt of 2.8 to 19.9 cm (average of 9.78 ± 3.55) and weight between 0.4 and 112.8 g, with 20.84 average of ± 20,9. you collect them more representative were made in the months November 2006 and July-September 2007 (59.05%) agreed with the time of rains, which brings as consequence I contribute of nutrients to the water and increase of the productivity. the greater number of organisms captured in the station e2 (46.67%), located in the South zone, within the lagoon and characterized for being a relatively brief area bordered of manglares and with prairies of Thalassia substrate I sand-fagoso. the distribution of statures was unimodal with the greater frequencies between 6.0 and 11.5 cm of lt (61.90%), of which it is possible to be inferred that the analyzed population was conformed in its majority by youthful organisms. the relation lt- weight was highly significant (r2 = 0,996; p < 0,01) with a constant of regression “b” = 2.826 what is indicative of an isometric growth; the obtained equation was p = 0,0245l2,826.
