Abstract
The comparison is made with data of surveys oceanográphics in Senegal and nor-east of Venezuela. 14500 and 1750 miles nautical were analyzed respectively in the nor oriental area of Venezuela and Senegal, having in common the species Sardinella aurita. The fish schools detected by acoustic systems were classified according to the methodology applied to fish schools in Senegal. The factorial analysis was applied by correspondence (AFC) as comparison method among the two databases, to establish the relationship of the structure of the school with the variables as surface distance, bottom distance and position with regard to the sun (day and night). The analysis allowed to confirm the absence of a schools type (tower) related to an absent of the species in Venezuela, as Sardinella maderensis. The structure of the schools established has a tendency to a decrease or change in its way according to the position of the sun and its relationship with the depth it will be determined by its form and areas that it occupies the school.
