Abstract

The trade of ornamental species coming from the direct capture in reefs, is focused mainly in the group of the fish and recently in the marine crustaceans, being centered mainly in the shrimps carideos of the gender Lysmata, Periclimenes, Alpheus and Stenopus. Which develop interesting you relate diners or of symbiosis with anemones, this relationship is an important point to establish the presence-absence of shrimps. The present work is a preliminary analysis of the geographical distribution of Periclimenes pedersoni, P. yucatanicus, Alpheus armatus, Thor amboinenensis and its anemones Condylactis gigantea and Bartholomea annulata, in areas of reef of the Mexican caribe, there is been identifying the habitat type to end for these species inside the lagoon of the reef. As preliminary results it is presented the geographical distribution and abundance in the area of reef of X´calak and Mahahual
