Abstract
The sagittal otoliths of 241 red groupers Epinephelus morio with a size range of 254 to 830 mm TL (total length) were analyzed to estimate age and growth. Red grouper were aged up to 10 years. In addition life history patterns (gonadosomal indices, size-at-age, sex-at-age, and sex-at-length) for red grouper were investigated. Results obtained from this study were compared to the work conducted for this species throughout the Caribbean.
